pops and nyc

this past holiday weekend, haven's pops (jon's dad) came up for a quick visit and to meet haven. changing tables appear to be few and far between in the big apple. jon, haven and i shared quite the experience in one of our-favorite-coffee-shop's restrooms trying to 'accomodate' our  sweet girl. may i remind you that haven still has the  wonderful habit of 'sprinkling' upon air hitting her bum. so, there we are, our whole family squished into the bathroom, i'm holding the priceless one while jon has the juggling act of trying to remove and replace her diaper. stakes were high folks, as we brought a change of clothes for haven, but none for moi, the changing table. we laughed our heads off and probably left the man waiting to use the potty with many questions, but i'm happy to report all remained dry even in spite of our dear girls valiant efforts. :)
